Do you still have an old playstation 2 in the house and do you miss the good old
adventure kind of game? I have great memories of the "Alone in the dark" series.
It was a horror adventure, which really addicted me in my ps2 days. Not suitable for the very sensitive souls among us. In my idea the best that ps2 offered in it's period. Not only the graphics, but specially the story and gameplay and puzzles. Serious addicting. Some time ago I tried to find back Alone in the dark games back on newsgroups, but it wasn't available. Than I tried my luck on torrents, I succeeded in the end, but it wasn't easy, most results were not seeded. Another problem was the titeling. All the search results were called Alone in the dark,which doesn't say much, cause it is a serie of games! After finally getting them back , I played them again and relived the great gameplay and story hidden in these games. My favourite is Ps2 Alone in the dark 4, which is in fact a ported game from ps1. But still, the ps2 graphics are better. 
So after my effort to get these games back, I offer a return to the newsgroup community.
I have available a collection of 2 ps2 games;

- Alone in the Dark4: The New Nightmare ps2
- Alone in the Dark5:  Near Death Investigation

The problem for Alone in the dark 5 is, that this particulair game came on the market under different names for different platforms;
For playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 the title was Alone in the dark, Near dead investigation. For playstation 3 the game came out in november 2008, called "Alone in the dark,  Inferno".... So searching wasn't easy. It is said that the ps3 version has complete different levels in the story. Well, I wouldn't now, I liked the ps2 version much.
